An ancient Philistine wine cellar was found in the Ir Hayin park in Ashkelon. In light of the findings, it was decided that the bridging elements that will pass through the park will draw inspiration from its history. Kadesh Bridge is used for the movement of vehicles, cyclists and pedestrians, and connects the new and the old city.
